Willard L. Kern, better known as "Bill", is a retired founder and CEO of Management Science, Inc. an Industrial Engineering software developer and on-line computer service firm.  His mother called him "Willard Lee", when he was in trouble, which was often. He was born in Macedonia, Illinois on July 11, 1929.  His mother said it snowed on the day he was born and they had a fire in the stove on that day.  Severe weather for southern Illinois!  Four months later the stock market crashed, banks went broke and the great depression started! 

This started Bill's life as an eccentric, unique individual that accomplished the seemingly impossible!  At six years Bill's father, an accomplished teacher, coach and school Principal moved to a little coal mining town of 2500, Zeigler, Illinois.  Bill grew up there in a town where tough unionism was evident (UMW vs PMW).  A company town with a company store, a circle, the world's largest single shaft coal mine in the world on one side of town and the largest coal washer and another mine on the other side of town. He was one of seven brothers and sisters. He was god fearing!  Recently the ACLU came into town and told the town officials that they would have to remove the sign that said,"GOD BLESS AMERICA" from the town circle. They left and went back to Chicago when told "leave or die"!

Bill's life is truly AMERICAN, born one of seven children during the depression, raised on farm food and pork, (not the kind supported by Harry Reid and others in congress).  His grandfather, Clifford Dallas Kern raised 13 children in Macedonia, was 94 when he died, was an accomplished violinist, Cashier of the local bank, Postmaster, teacher and accountant.  His great grandfather, Noah Sullivan, Jr. homesteaded 80 acres, raised 6 boys and two girls, was the justice of the peace.  His great great grandfather, Noah Sullivan, Sr., born in North Carolina, then to Ohio, Indiana and then to Southern Illinois. Truly an american story!  Bill is not one of those supposed Judeo-christian radical nut cases defined by the left wing media but a true believer in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. 

He believes that the crazed left wing media, who can look at the pictures of nebulae, stars, suns, galaxies, black holes and endless space photographed by the Hubble telescope and not believe that there is a superior being behind it, is nuts! They have no other reasoning for all of this other than "The Big Bang" theory.  WHAT WAS THERE BEFORE THE BIG BANG?  They can't answer that! 

Bill is 80 , in excellent health (better than Harry Reid, senators; Kennedy, Arlan Spector, Robert Bird, Etc..) and expects to live to be 110!  Bill gets up every morning at 5:00 AM and for exercise, splits and stacks 1/4 cord of wood for next winter.  He uses an 8 Lb. maul to split wood.  Bill comes from a long line of extra "long livers". His grandfather lived to 94 while fighting Staph infections and TB.  His older brother rode a bicycle 80 miles on his 80th birthday after having a quadruple by pass ten years before.  Bill is not going to accept any age prejudice in this election. Bill will challenge Harry Reid to a round splitting contest at his home in Carson City Nevada, using an 8 LB. maul axe of course, if Harry says he is too old!

He does not believe in murdering babies with a pair of scissors into the brain, a fact that future generations will believe to be BARBARIC!  He believes in small efficient government.  His whole life in business (34 years) with over 500 client corporations has been to foster productivity improvement, which government needs drastically.  He can help bring that about.  His company has saved millions of dollars per year of cost for manufacturers and hospitals.

There must be "HONOR" and "GOD" in politics!  Honor of self, others and our unique country, the USA.  As in the boy scout oath, "On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and to my country--" and the golden rule,"Do unto others as you would wish them to do to you", He believes that Harry Reid has been lying to the seniors of Nevada, voting against The Social Security Lock box initiative and the SSI Trust fund to protect Social Security investments made by it's participants.  Harry wanted to keep SSI investments clear so that he can give SSI to the never do goods (drugees that do not want to work) and to buy votes of illegal immigrants.  Harry went to law school so that he can use legalease to tell white lies and then now and then tells a black one! 

HARRY MUST GO BACK TO SEARCHLIGHT!

In 1996-1997, he became very active in the Institute of Industrial Engineers, an international society that works with companies and municipalities on productivity problems.  This is done through design of systems of men and machines to cut costs and increase productivity. 

In 1967, Bill's staff had designed, written the software for and operated the first on-line real-time medical records and billing system with over 200 clients in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota on IBM 360 & 370 computers. 

Throughout his career he has worked with many  manufacturers, Transportation companies, Hospitals and health care organizations, Insurance companies, Etc.. to increase productivity.   In 1996 he was elected to be the Director of the "Work Measurement and Ergonomics Division", which during his first year was upgraded to become "The Society for Work Science".  In 1997 he was given the societies "Gold Award" for management of the division.  Three other awards followed; the "M. M. Ayaub" Award for advancements and outstanding contributions to the field of Ergonomics, the "Phil Carroll Award" for advancements and outstanding contributions to the field of work measurement and a "Distinguish Services Award" for outstanding services to the society.

Bill has three children, two girls and one boy, Two granddaughters and two grandsons and four greatgrand  daughters and they're all sweethearts. 

I lived through the Great Depression and believe me, there is no comparison with today! (outdoor toilets, freeze your butt off, couldn't afford toilet paper, only Sears Roebuck Catalogues). We ate salt pork and farm raised foods, canned and stored in the basement for winter. And, how about the WPA (we poke along) for most people to afford a living (barely).  

How about sleeping in unheated bed rooms, with a coal stove in the living room, banked at night or Hoeing corn all day in the hot sun.  Sunburned until the bed sheets stuck to you.  Sunburned so badly you couldn't sleep at night !   

Unemployment in July, 2009 was 9.4%.  During the depression it averaged 17.4%.  let's get serious Obama, you don't know what it was like!  Are you either lying or are you ignorant of the facts?

I think Obama is lying to you to scare hell out of you so that he can forward his socialist agenda!

Harry Reid is supporting that agenda and forwarding it in the Senate! Harry Reid has finally shown that he is a socialist!

Bill has represented Sharon Angle for senate against Harry Reid and believes she is the most qualified and will follow her strong principles of life without faltering!  She is a decent person with strong convictions for our country!  Sharron is a person of honor!
